Meditative Arts
Crafting has a de-stressing magic to it: the repetitive motion of crafting and designing can bring on a state of calm similar to that experienced in meditation and/or yoga; enhancing minfulness and concentration in the here and now. I can design meditative craft workshops built around you.
Macrame & Weaving
Macramé evokes mindfulness with its repetitive knotting and the limitless creative possibilities. Macrame utilises fine motor skills through finger and hand strengthening. Work on improving visual motor skills, hand eye coordination, executive function with sequencing, and stamina. The action of repetitive movements can have a meditative and calming effect on the mind as well.

Polymer Clay
The limitless potential for creativity in polymer clay engages our muscles, fine motor skills, vision, and imagination. We are simultaneously allowing unprocessed feelings to shape the clay while making detailed decisions about which direction we'd like to take the item we are working on.

Beading
Beading reduces stress and anxiety. It keeps our hands busy and our minds at ease. Beading requires full focus and concentration on the present moment, allowing us to practice mindfulness, and helps prevent our thoughts from wandering.
Mixed Media
Mixed media art involves combining different materials and techniques to create a cohesive piece. It is particularly therapeutic because it encourages experimentation and exploration. Mixing various media allows a greater freedom of expression.
